Staff very friendly. Well thought out hygiene measures.

On the positive side the food was delicious. But the shop (kind of in the middle of a hotel) is hard to find. We were not dealt with well. Bad table. We were not shown to our friends who were registered for the same table. An ordered wine was not brought but charged for it.

We are guests of the hotel for the 3 year in a row and are always very satisfied. We always eat in the restaurant. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. We cannot understand some reviews. It is always tried very hard in the hotel as well as in the restaurant. The dishes are always a treat for the palate. We always love to come back!

Unfortunately the restaurant is not as good as expected. We spent two nights in the hotel next door. Unfortunately, it starts with the fact that the staff at the reception of the restaurant shows no real interest in new guests arriving. On both evenings we stood at the host for more than 5 minutes. Several employees walked past us without saying a word or without making eye contact. The dinner buffet on the first evening was ... well how can you express it professionally. "Grazed", very limited selection and taste - well ok but not tasty. The rest of the soup was slowly sticking to the pot. The cheese platter only consisted of 5 grapes, 3 walnuts, a small piece of hard cheese and a few cut cheese edges. A shame and absolutely not inviting. The service on both evenings was okay, nice but mostly very busy. Since the first evening was not very satisfactory, we hoped to be able to forget it with a second visit to the à la carte shop. Unfortunately, it was not like that. One starter and the drinks came quickly and without a long wait. After the starter nothing came for almost an hour. After almost 1 1/2 hours (about 8:30 p.m.; other tables that had ordered at the same time (about 7:00 p.m.) had their food) unfortunately there was still no main course in sight. It is clear to us that the waitresses are mostly not responsible for the chaos in the kitchen and that it can sometimes go "haywire" in the restaurant business. But with all the love the overall picture does not fit in the back and front and it is a cheek guests without any information or the like. to keep waiting. When the dishes weren't particularly elaborate. We then cut off the evening and canceled the meal. So for us it was one of the worst experiences ever and we wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very, very unfortunate and frustrating.

Ambience is beautiful especially in the evening.

We went there on Thursday after visiting the forest lights in the park. At the entrance we stood around for 10 minutes. According to the sign, you should wait until a table has been assigned to you. That happened then too. We were told to pick any free table. Well thank you! Otherwise we would probably have sat on the lap of complete strangers. Again we waited a long time at the table until they brought us the menu. A clipboard with loose pieces of paper. On top of the slip for the data entry. We were asked to fill it out and then referred to the menu. A waitress (without company clothes) came after what felt like an eternity to take our order. We would have opted for coffee, cappuccino and a snack from the menu. Then, smugly, came the hint that the kitchen had already closed. It's really funny if you are referred to the menu beforehand. Since this consisted of a loose collection of notes on a clipboard, it would have been easy to just bring the drinks menu. The icing on the cake was that the slips of paper for the data collection are apparently collected under the menu. So we could have easily copied the data of a previous person who was there around 5.30 p.m. I work in gastronomy myself and can really understand that this job is more than exhausting on such hot days. But under no circumstances should a customer feel that! A service staff must never arrive at the customer's place annoyed, because every customer pays part of their salary! Conclusion: The next time we spend a child-free evening after a long time, we will do it somewhere else. The visit made this actually beautiful evening worse than it actually was. Pity!

Such a beautiful place I have been there twice and in the past the park was only built and now it is as huge and beautiful as the hotel

We were guests in the Parkhotel Best Western restaurant and wanted to have a little dinner there. 7 euros for a tiny asparagus soup with a maximum of 2-3 pieces of asparagus and 5 small slices of bread for 2 people. The asparagus soup was ok. However, not worth the price in the least. Ambience solala, you sit inside on the same garden chairs as outside. Very getting used to. The service was also not very polite. We were dressed a little casually and were not really treated well. The entire restaurant was almost empty and we were first criticized for coming up with the idea of ​​getting there without a reservation. After some hesitation we were asked to choose one of the 50 empty seats. Since the restaurant closed in an hour, we were asked to hurry. The guests behind us (also hearing hotel guests) did not have to pay for their champagne. This was given as a welcome for the hotel guests for free. According to the waitress, when the waitress was with us and we casually let it be noted that we were also hotel guests, she became a little friendlier, but an apperative was not offered to us like the guests behind us. All in all, I would not eat there anymore. The menu was very manageable, dishes a bit overpriced for the quality and the service very unfriendly. However, if you look for money and don't come out of the walk wearing jeans and a T-shirt, you seem to be treated well. Not recommended.

It is an insolence Convenience to serve for 202.00 eur ... even if it may have been limited due to corona but packaged goods from the supermarket around the corner doesn't really have to be ... a shame because the ambience is quite nice but you have to have more than 3 chances for a restaurateur to not give.

Very friendly and above all competent staff. The service staff not only knew what to tell about the wines, but also knew the ingredients of the dishes - if you asked. In general, you were very attentive and you just feel welcome here. The food was delicious and the amount was just right!

The food is very tasty, the selection at the buffet (35 €) very good and varied. The a la carte dishes that we tried earlier are also very good. Please continue. The KARL is a gastronomic highlight - not only in Bad Lippspringe but also beyond.

Delicious dinner! We stayed at the hotel for a weekend and the 3 course menu was outstanding. Every course was delicious, only the somewhat long wait is to complain. The service was very attentive and always asked for requests. Highly recommended.

Restaurant directly at the spa gardens, beautiful view of the flowers of the state garden exhibition. Staff very nice and attentive, but price-performance takes some getting used to.

We loved the look of the restaurant. The service started off good but as soon as I explained that my wife was put on a strict gluten free diet because of her health issue with gluten, I seen the lady serving us change her facial expressions at once to a very impatient, angry look!! From then on we had been rushed and ignored. And my wife was left not knowing what she could safely eat on the menu!! We just had drinks and left. I would not recommend this place to someone with special dietary needs. As long as you order something they don't have to take special care with, they will be happy. 🤔

Very nice restaurant in a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and you were served quickly. We had a 3 course meal. Everything was arranged very lovingly and delicious.
